Implants is an option for replacement for any missing tooth in the oral cavity. Due to extensive R&D in implantology, titanium has been found the most noble metal to get osseointegrated (where the bone accepts the implant).

It has become a very attractive and safe alternative for replacing the missing tooth with a fixed bridge, where the missing tooth is replaced by taking support of two adjacent teeth. (adjacent teeth have to be considerably reduced to have caps supporting the missing tooth prosthesis.

Indications :

To save vital tooth structure adjacent to missing tooth site.

In areas where fixed bridge is not possible because of supporting tooth.

When complete denture retention is questionable because of lack of bone support. 

In cases of poor bone support implant supported by bar & clip denture is the best alternative  with 

100% success.
